Solace of submission (Dominant/submissive) Academy was the dream of Master Mikhail Borgin, and  was founded with the help of family and friends who share the common goal of restoring dignity and respect  to the lifestyle.

 At Sos, we promote the core values of Trust, Honor, Integrity, mutual Respect and a strong belief that submission is a gift that needs to be cherished and protected so it may flourish.  It is our mission to promote safety and strong relationships through education and knowledge. 

In his travels though this virtual world of Second Life,  Master Borgin spent countless hours observing untrained Dominants and submissives struggling to find true happiness.  His goal was to provide a place where people can come and live this lifestyle freely and openly, as well as receive an education based on our core values.

For those who are new to this lifestyle, Sos is a perfect place to come and learn this beautiful, alternative option. We offer educational opportunities to both Dominants and submissives with the intention of providing a strong foundation from which the Dominant and sub will grow.  At Sos, you'll find a safe, respectful, and protected environment that promotes learning and trust within the boundries of the Academy.  We provide voiced classroom instruction to Dominants and submissives by instructors who live the lifestyle. We also provide chat, lectures, and discussion groups for submissives, Dominants and lifestylers.

We present a softer, gentler side of the D/s lifestyle.  At Solace of submission we explore the emotional and mental aspect of BDSM.   While we respect all aspects of the lifestyle, we do not promote the sadomasochistic aspects of it.  It is our belief that a good emotional and mental foundation is integral before going on to explore other aspects of BDSM.

We believe that education is the key to building a successful D/s relationship, and that there is no room for competition when it comes to education. We are a member of ACES (Adult Community Education Society) and have a close working relationship with Dominus Slave Academy and BDSM Center, as well as many other sims that offer the opportunity to learn the lifestyle in what we believe is the right way.
